Dominic is responsible for developing the company’s sales strategy, leading its regional and internal sales teams, and establishing and growing relationships with IMOs. An industry veteran, Dominic has spent the bulk of his career working with IMOs, insurance carriers, broker-dealers, and insurance agents in positive advocacy of annuities and the growth of the industry. Dominic began his career as an independent agent and has continued to share his infectious enthusiasm for annuities in various roles throughout his career, including serving as Chairman of the Board for the National Association for Fixed Annuities (NAFA).
Chris Eaken

Chris Eaken, Vice President, Compliance and Administration
Having been with Legacy since its inception, Chris oversees and ensures compliance of Legacy’s marketing, administration, and product development initiatives, including licensing and contracting and suitability/best interest. She manages the Product Implementation Team to ensure product initiatives and corporate projects are successfully executed. Chris works directly with Legacy’s carriers and their third-party administrators to ensure Producers and Independent Marketing Organizations (IMOs) receive exceptional service and that product and enhancement launches are implemented on time.
Her expertise and industry experience are substantial assets when it comes to product and project implementation initiatives. Chris has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University, Fullerton, and holds FLMI, AIRC, AIAA, and ACS designations from the Life Office Management Association. She regularly participates in and attends industry meetings.
Luba Losyev

With the unique vantage point of having been at the forefront of infrastructure technology in Silicon Valley, and more than 30 years of IT experience working for multiple insurance companies, Luba provides Legacy with a strong advantage when it comes to all things technology. While leading her team of IT professionals, Luba fuses together technical capabilities and end user experiences to deliver best-in-class service platforms. Enhancements, maintenance, and production support for the company’s technology infrastructure are just a few of the responsibilities that stem from Luba’s stewardship. She holds bachelor’s degrees from Moscow State University in both computer science and physics.

Karen motivates and mentors not only the Marketing Field Support Team (MFS), but everyone else in the company. As leader of the MFS Team, Karen’s expertise and enthusiasm keep the phones ringing. Her gift for communication, relationship building, and sales translates into Legacy’s own triple threat. Karen thrives on crafting new and exciting sales and marketing initiatives for IMOs and Producers. Since Legacy’s inception, she has held a number of senior management positions. Also known as the Fun Committee Chairman, she keeps our spirits soaring with her dedication and enthusiasm for the business.

Since joining Legacy in 1994, Preston has been championing the vision of Legacy founder and CEO Lynda Pitts while providing steadfast leadership. His entrepreneurial mindset and big-picture way of thinking fosters a dynamic and fluid work environment that lends itself to innovation and excellence. He guides and influences the Legacy team to challenge industry norms, encourages creativity, and demands exceptional customer service.
Preston’s experience spans more than 30 years, and includes such roles as insurance industry financial officer and audit manager with international accounting firm Ernst & Young. He brings a deep passion and commitment to Legacy’s mission. Preston also holds an FLMI designation.

Amy has been practicing all facets of accounting for more than 20 years and earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Sonoma State University. She tackles many priorities here at Legacy and is always willing to step in and roll up her sleeves. Her team is responsible for Legacy’s financial planning, banking relationships, commissions, and budget management. She’s been with Legacy since 2006 and holds a CPA designation.

Niju is responsible for growing and nurturing partner relationships to expand Legacy’s product portfolio and marketplace share. Collaborating with carrier executives, he conceptualizes new and exciting ways to structure insurance products. His team relies on his infectious passion, enthusiasm, and deep insurance industry knowledge to help guide their thought process. Niju’s contributions enable Legacy to remain an industry leader and innovator.
In his current role as Chief Marketing Officer at Legacy, Niju is able to leverage his prior experience as an agent with MetLife, Regional Sales VP for Manulife Financial, and President and CEO of Transamerica Life Bermuda. Niju has a master’s degree in business administration from Illinois State University and bachelor’s and LLB (bachelor of laws) degrees from Gujarat University in India. He holds CLU, ChFC, and MBA designations.

S&P 500® IQ Index: Harnessing a Powerful Addition to Fixed Indexed Annuities

In fact, this benchmark index leads in indexed annuity allocation — with nearly 44% of allocations using S&P 500 index crediting options. This index aims to provide exposure to the S&P 500 while applying an intraday volatility control mechanism. By choosing S&P DJI’s S&P 500 IQ Index for use with FIAs, consumers are offered an efficient, cost-effective means of seeking exposure to the S&P 500 while maintaining risk at targeted volatility levels. The S&P 500 IQ Index measures intraday volatility over a single five-minute window during the trading day and rebalances at the end of each trading day, helping it adjust to changing market conditions on a same-day basis.
